About Me

My name is Miss Xanthee! I am the owner and founder of Barnyard Beginnings Preschool, where every day is an adventure filled with learning and laughter. With a bachelor's degree in elementary education and over 8 years of experience nurturing young minds, I have been able to bring my dream to life here at Barnyard Beginnings Preschool! 

My journey into preschool is rooted in a deep belief in the power of play and exploration. At Barnyard Beginnings, we embrace an innovative approach where learning is an adventure! We provide a magical space where little ones can thrive, surrounded by the wonders of nature and the endless possibilities of their imaginations. 

Away from my beloved preschool, I find joy in puzzles, music, and TV shows! I have been married for nearly 5 years to my best friend and together we share our home with our wonderful son and Dusk, our playful pup who is as much a part of the Barnyard Beginnings family as the students themselves! Welcome to Barnyard Beginnings, where every day is a new opportunity to learn, love, and grow!

Miss Xanthee was great at collaborating with me as a parent. In areas where my son needed extra attention, she was proactive and willing to go above and beyond to help out. I think it is for that reason, my son's experience with her was so meaningful. I would totally recommend Miss Xanthee to friends and family without any hesitation. 

  • Xanthee taught both of my girls in preschool for multiple years. She was patient and kind to both of them who couldn't be more different. She taught them as individuals and everyday my kids would come home to tell me all of the ways she made them feel special. She also takes her time to support moms and help me be able to be prepared to help them at home. She is the best! I would recommend her to anyone!
